Private Mole Removal
Unwanted moles can be quickly and precisely removed under local anaesthetic. Get in touch today to book a private mole removal consultation.
How can I help with Private Mole Removal?
I can quickly remove your unwanted mole in one walk-in walk-out visit. After discussing your mole and expectations, I can immediately proceed with the mole removal.
Although most removed moles have no suspicious features (such as crusting/bleeding/altered shape or pigmentation), I always send them to the lab for a consultant pathologist examination. If your mole is changing, the NHS will provide a rapid diagnostic service to determine if it requires removal and, if so, will arrange for this to be done. If this is the case, please see your GP.
I have carried out precise surgery for many years and take pride in obtaining outstanding results and excellent patient satisfaction.

Find out how I can help
If you’d like to find out more about how I can help with Private Mole Removal then an initial consultation can be arranged at your convenience.

What is Private Mole Removal?
Moles occur when cells in the skin grow in a cluster, rather than being spread evenly throughout the tissue. They can be caused by a number of things, including genetics, sun exposure and hormones.
Most moles are benign, meaning they’re not cancerous. However, some moles can develop into melanoma, which is the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
What does the treatment for Private Mole Removal involve?
The area is first numbed with a local anaesthetic, and then the mole is precisely removed under magnification.
The tiny wound created will then be closed using extremely fine absorbable (so need for stitch removal visit!) stitches placed under magnification.

Recovery from Private Mole Removal
Mole removals on the face will heal within a week or so, other areas of the body take longer. Absorbable stitches usually last 2 -3 weeks, occasionally longer.
What you can expect from Private Mole Removal
Private mole removal surgery usually takes about 30 minutes, depending on the nature of the mole and its location.
