How can I help with Private Cyst Removal?

Having removed your cyst the wound will be closed as accurately as possible under magnification. The stitches used are soluble so there is no need for a return visit to remove sutures.

Your wound may be covered with a small dressing when you leave. Once this comes off, I usually ask patients to apply antiseptic cream to help the wound to heal well. For scalp cysts it is possible to wash your hair the next day, just being gentle with the area.
