Torn earlobe repair

This lovely lady had her earring pulled out by an infant reaching up from her lap! The consultation involved a long discussion about keloid. This is the formation of a heaped-up scar which is much more common in Afro-Caribbean skin (hence her concern) and is difficult to completely eradicate if it has formed. We decided that the original piercing and the trauma of pulling the earring out had already tested whether she was prone to forming keloid, so went ahead with the earlobe repair. She has healed nicely and is pleased, although the scar so far is still a bit sensitive to the touch.

To repair a torn or stretched earlobe please contact us for a consultation. I would love to help.
