Skin tags removal. Warning – re medical photo
These annoying tags can occur in many areas of the body. These little blighters (aka anal skin tags!) were caused by haemorrhoids (piles). Healing is rapid after local anaesthetic removal and patients are delighted to be rid of them. It takes just half an hour.

This man pulled his mask down to bid farewell and I spotted this. It is a form of skin cancer (a basal cell carcinoma).

This little anal skin tag had been bothering one of today’s patients for 8 years. She had undergone haemorrhoidectomy but this remaining tag had not disappeared.

Sebaceous cysts are roundish lumps which form within the skin and classically have a little indentation on the top (the punctum).
