What does the treatment for Mole Removal involve?
The first step is to numb the area around the mole with a local anaesthetic.
I then precisely remove the mole under local anaesthetic.
The removal leaves a tiny wound which will be closed with fine, absorbable stitches that are placed under magnification. There’s no need for a follow-up appointment as the stitches will dissolve all by themselves.
Recovery from Mole Removal
Mole removals heal in an average of two weeks. Facial mole removals often heal much quicker, in around one week.
The absorbable stitches take around 2-3 weeks to break down fully.

A mole removal usually takes around 30 minutes. I can book you into a combined consultation and treatment, which lasts around 45 minutes and contains the procedure in one visit.
