Mole Removal Healing Progression

One of my recent patients has taken photographs of her “mole removal journey” which she is happy to share. I hope that showing them on this site, it helps others know what to expect if they wish to have a mole or minor skin lesion (lipoma or cyst) removed.

You can see a few days after her surgery the stitches are in place (i usually use very fine dissolving stitches) and then a couple of weeks later the wound has just healed.

Once initially healed the wound matures over months and the redness fades to give the final result which (in this case) should be barely noticeable.

If you have moles or facial moles you would like to have removed, please contact me. I would love to help.
