Gauged earlobe repair, the way I did

Gauged ear continued. Beware clinical photographs.

This was my approach to the gauged ear repair request. I will post a healed picture in due course.
To explain – Having made it all numb, I removed the inner “doughnut” of the skin lining the stretched piercing. The skin bridge was then divided just below the midpoint and the inner (thicker) tongue rotated up to form the front of the new lobe. The outer tongue was similarly rotated behind to close the back of the new lobe in a similar fashion. This preserved the majority of useful tissue in creating a new earlobe.
Could not resist “Holding back the ears”! Lol groan!

Please get in touch, if you have any gauged earlobe you would love to have repaired. I would love to help.
